Who

Author of Of the Manichaeans, an early refutation of Mani's teaching on two principles and on matter, written at Lycopolis in Egypt. A later tradition calls him its bishop, converted from paganism. The treatise reasons as a Platonist philosopher and quotes little Scripture, and many scholars think he was not a Christian at all.
