Psalm 44:18

““Our heart has not turned back; and Thou hast turned aside our goings out of Thy way” (ver. 18).” — the author cites it

“And then she turned to the Lord Himself, saying, “Thou knowest the secrets of the heart,” and “all this is come upon us; yet have we not forgotten thee, neither have we dealt falsely in thy covenant; our heart is not turned back.”” — editor's note: Ps. xliv. 17, 18.
