CommentJeromePublic domainMark 9:30–37

Capernaum means the city of consolation, and agrees with the former sentence, which He had spoken: “And after that He is killed, He shall arise the third day.”

There follows: “And being in the house He asked them, What was it that ye disputed among yourselves by the way? But they held their peace.”

Reproduced in full. Translation: Oxford 1841 (Newman), public domain (Public domain).
