CommentPseudo-ChrysostomPublic domainMatthew 21:28–32

The Lord abundantly confirms their decision, whence it follows, “Jesus said unto them, Verily I say unto yon, that the publicans and harlots shall go before you in the kingdom of God;” as much as to say, Not only the Gentiles are before you, but even the publicans and the harlots.

Reproduced in full. Translation: Oxford 1841 (Newman), public domain (Public domain).
