Who

Saul of Tarsus, Pharisee and persecutor, called on the road to Damascus and made the apostle of the nations. His thirteen letters are the earliest Christian theology; he founded churches across Asia Minor and Greece, formed Timothy, Titus and Luke, and died a martyr at Rome under Nero. Irenaeus says the Roman church was founded and built up by Peter and Paul together (Against Heresies III.3.2).
