CommentBedePublic domainMark 12:1–12

Not by any change of place, but He seemed to go away from the vineyard, that He might leave the husbandmen to act on their own freewill.

It goes on: “And at the season he sent to the husbandmen a servant, that he might receive from the husbandmen of the fruit of the vineyard.”

Reproduced in full. Translation: Oxford 1841 (Newman), public domain (Public domain).
