CommentOrigenPublic domainMatthew 26:20–25

He said not, By whom “the Son of Man is betrayed,” but “through whom,” [John 13:2] pointing out another, to wit the Devil, as the author of His betrayal, Judas as the minister. But woe also to all betrayers of Christ! and such is every one who betrays a disciple of Christ.

Reproduced in full. Translation: Oxford 1841 (Newman), public domain (Public domain).
