- 'the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you' — the believer's body as a sanctuary.
Why it matters
The Christian's body is a temple of the Holy Spirit. Pitre ends the Ark chapter with this verse (p 65): Jesus died and rose so that every person's body can be transformed by grace into a temple, and Mary's Assumption shows that bodily resurrection and ascension into heaven are not for Jesus alone but for us too.
